SSCs
Sector Skills Councils can draw on RCU's experience of the education and skills sector to provide objective and comprehensive analysis of the qualifications offered, trends in uptake and the match to the needs of different industrial sectors. RCU has undertaken research into the volume of vocational learning in the UK, as part of UKVQRP for QCA and investigated the LAD and the impact of SSAs for LSC national office.
Complementing our analyses based on data-mining of learner records, e.g. to identify the factors influencing success rates, we offer surveys of employers, learners and other stakeholders. Additionally, we have carried out a national review of land-based provision and recently a review of land-based sector in the North West. The case-study below is an illustration of the ways we may be able to help you.
We also work with sector organisations such as LSIS, QCA and LSC.
