MiDES is a service to the Association of Colleges (AoC) member colleges which provides members with a regularly updated suite of in-year benchmarked intelligence reports on key topics including:

  • In-year retention;
  • Recruitment and curriculum profile;
  • Apprenticeship recruitment, completion and withdrawals;
  • Deprivation analysis (IMD) v population profile;
  • Current average fee income.

The value of being able to harness in-year data for decision-making within colleges is significant as is the potential for the MiDES reports to contribute to business and curriculum planning as well as to the Self Assessment Report process. MiDES has even been used to support Ofsted inspections.
