Vector Market Share
The Market Share maps on Vector show the volume of learners living in each local authority ward or district included in your defined catchment area as a percentage of the overall volume of learners engaged in learning.
The maps can be filtered to show comparisons of your market share by academic year, age band, subject area and highest NVQ level.
You can also find out more about the other providers recruiting learners or the overall subject profile of each area down to ward level in the Vector Charts.
Vector Provider Analysis
The Vector Provider Analysis charts show the total learner numbers recruited from a defined geographical area by your organisation and compares this to the numbers recruited by all other providers including other FE colleges, private training providers, sixth form colleges, school sixth forms and others. You can also view the change in learner numbers over multiple years for each of the provider groups.
The charts can be filtered to show comparisons of your market share by academic year, district/ward, age band, subject area and highest NVQ level.
Vector Subject Area Analysis
The Vector Subject Area Analysis charts provide an overview of the overall learning profile compared to your organisations learning profile, at subject area level, within the defined recruitment area.
You can filter the analysis by academic year, funding model and area (down to local authority district).

Vector Curriculum Analysis
The Vector Curriculum tables enable you to examine and compare the curriculum offer of your organisation with other provider groups including other FE colleges, private training providers, sixth form colleges and school sixth forms.
Analysis can be carried out for each subject area by highest NVQ level and right down to individual course/qualification to enable you to identify potential gaps and opportunities for your own curriculum development.

One of the key decisions was making sure the college could make informed decisions about their marketing and curriculum plans.
