Learners
As part of the responsiveness agenda and capturing the learner voice, we carry out a wide range of surveys of current learners e.g. satisfaction, former learners, learners who do not complete their courses (retention research) as well as potential learners. In addition, we have provided consultancy to planning and funding bodies, for example LSC in connection with the Framework for Excellence, about how to gather learner feedback. This has included identifying and helping to disseminate good practice. Learner surveys may be based on questionnaires or focus groups or interviews, or combinations of these approaches.
