College Curriculum Profile Report

Review and compare your curriculum profile with other colleges

The Curriculum Profile report provides a facility to AoC member colleges to compare the college’s curriuclum profile by sector subject area with the national picture and other selected comparator groups, such as regional or provider type (GFE, SFC).

The report is initially released in January each year following the collection of the R04 ILR and is updated again in March and June using the latest R06 and R10 data submitted by college members.

The report includes separate screens enabling you to review and compare the curriculum by either the overall number or the percentage of learners or enrolments within each sector subject area, by funding stream (16-19, adult learners and apprenticeships).

You can also drill down further to review and compare learner volumes / enrolments by qualification level and learner characteristic (gender or ethnicity).

In addition to the college’s curriculum profile, this MiDES report also contains some additional screens to review and compare your recruitment change / learner volumes to the wider benchmarks.

MiDES is a shared service developed by RCU for the Association of Colleges. AoC member colleges submit their learner data to the secure MIDES data server creating a new sector-owned dataset. This creates a hugely powerful data resource for members that provides unique in-year benchmarking information.
