The HERA market insight platform has now been updated with the 2025/26 Q1 apprenticeship data for all UVAC members.
This update provides the latest view of apprenticeship starts and achievements in the current academic year and offers early insight into emerging patterns across higher and degree apprenticeships at a national level.
Drawing on this newly published dataset, we have also undertaken a focused comparison between Q1 2025/26 and Q1 2024/25 to highlight how the market has shifted over the past 12 months.

- Continued strength in professional standards such as Chartered Surveyor and Registered Nurse
- Strong growth concentrated at Levels 4 and 5
- Fastest growing apprenticeship is the Level 4 Business Analyst
