RCU to host 2026 Vector User Group

RCU is hosting its annual Vector User Group on Friday 8th May, bringing together a small group of experienced Vector users from colleges across England.

The session will provide an opportunity to:

  • Gather feedback on the current Vector platform
  • Explore how it is being used to support college planning
  • Discuss ideas for future development

Vector is used by colleges across England to access data and insight on learner markets, curriculum patterns, provider competition, local demand and wider strategic planning themes. As the platform continues to evolve, feedback from users remains an important part of its ongoing development.

The 2026 User Group will include discussion around:

  • Recent updates to Vector
  • Current use of the platform
  • New features planned for future releases

Participants will also be invited to share ideas about how Vector can continue to support colleges with curriculum planning, market analysis and evidence-informed decision-making.

Chris Lee, Director of Marketing and Communications at RCU, said:

“The Vector User Group is a valuable opportunity to hear directly from colleges about how they are using the platform, what they find most useful, and where we can continue to improve. This feedback helps ensure Vector remains relevant, practical and responsive to the needs of the sector.”

The session forms part of RCU’s wider commitment to working closely with colleges and ensuring that Vector continues to provide high-quality, accessible and meaningful insight to support planning and decision-making.

Further updates on Vector developments will be shared with users following the session.
